Peer Support Group
What's the goal?
The goal of Montana Amputees in Action is to promote well-being of amputees and caregivers by increasing access to social support. More specifically, this program aims to build community and peer support based on shared experiences and the interests and/or hobbies (meaningful activities) of group members.
What to expect?
Amputees will have the opportunity to engage in peer support relationships. There will be a balance of giving and receiving support from each other during group meetups in the community which are focused on the interests of group members.
Where at?
Montana Amputees in Action is based in Great Falls, MT. It is open to individuals across the state in an online format on Facebook. In-person events are located in Great Falls and surrounding areas.
